.gov in URL - Use by states

Hi, all:

Here in California, state websites _do_ use .gov in the domain name.
(See, for example, http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/ or http://www.courtinfo.ca.gov/,
or just plain old http://www.ca.gov/.
