Amazon.com's "Purchasing Circles" have hit the press, appearing on the front
page of this morning's The Wasthington Post. (See
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/business/daily/aug99/amazon27.htm.) The
Post reports that you can now have your individual purchases not
incorporated in the data.
A visit to Amazon.com this morning confirms this: Just send an e-mail to
no-purchase-circles@amazon.com. Amazon.com also says that no purchase circle
information will be posted unless the domain name has over 200 customers
associated with it.
