LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, a multi-national law firm based in New York seeks an experienced Associate Librarian for Information & Technology.

The Associate Librarian will coordinate and supervise the integration of technology into the administrative, reference and technical services functions of the Library. This individual will work closely with the firm's MIS Department overseeing and maintaining the firm's current CD-ROM network as well as other Library applications. The Associate will work closely with the Library Director in identifying, analyzing and implementing new technologies where appropriate. This person will also work closely with the firm's branch offices to support their Library information and technology needs where appropriate. Additionally, the Associate will be responsible for developing and teaching Internet, computer and legal resource training programs for legal and library staff. The Associate will back up and support the firm's reference staff and be available for special research assignments as needed.

The successful candidate should have a Masters degree in Library and/or Information Sciences as well as supervisory and training/teaching experience. Knowledge of computer applications and networks, legal and non-legal databases, CD-ROMs and the Internet is required. The position requires strong communication, management and interpersonal skills. Lastly, the position requires flexibility in accepting new tasks and be available for overtime as needed.
