AALL's Professional Development Committee seeks responses to an RFP

The American Association of Law Libraries wishes to insure that high quality
programs are available to its members. To this end, the AALL Professional
Development Committee has developed a Request for Proposal (RFP) process to
identify and attract the highest caliber program presenters available.

The Request for Proposal Process is designed to provide members and others
the opportunity to present programs through a fair and open process. It may
also contribute to the generation of new programming ideas and help to
refine upcoming programs.

The Professional Development Committee is currently seeking responses to an
RFP to develop and present programs on managing technical services. There
is one RFP to follow for a 2 ½ day program on Managing Technical Services.
Responses need to be received by September 15, 1999. We encourage any one
who is interested to respond.
