Associate Director for Computing Services
Library and Information Services
Responsibilities:
Manage and develop the law school's academic information systems.
Plan for, design, and implement information systems. Analyze and
assess the current and future impact of evolving technology needs.
Administer creative and dependable technology support services and
systems. Provide effective and team-oriented leadership for the law
school's academic computer services department. Assist in hiring,
training, and managing Computer Services staff.
Requirements:
Highly effective problem solving and communication skills are
essential. BS/BA in Computer Sciences required; masters level work or
degree is preferred. CNE required. Three to five years progressively
responsible experience in information systems and/or network
administration. Demonstrated knowledge about all aspects of Web-based
products and technology. Top notch supervisory, organizational, and
interpersonal skills are a must. Excellent management and written and
oral communication skills are a must. Good training and teaching
skills and the ability to work with faculty in promoting and
exploiting the use of technology in scholarship, teaching, and
