The New York Law Journal's web site has posted a special report about the
American Bar Association Annual Meeting, which starts later this week in
Atlanta. (http://www.nylj.com/aba/99)
The report includes an in-depth look at the proposal -- which is scheduled
to be debated by the ABA's policy-making House of Delegates -- that legal
ethics rules be changed to allow lawyers to share fees with other
professionals. Many observers believe it would be the biggest change to the
legal profession this century.
The report also includes daily coverage of the Annual Meeting from our
sister publication, the Fulton County Daily Report.
And there's a list of Atlanta web sites for lawyers and other legal
professionals planning to attend the meeting.
