Hello All,
We are looking for a software program (that can be loaded locally
or on a novell network) which can track the usage of electronic
resources. Specifically, we want to know how many times a cdrom
or internet shortcut resource has been accessed by patrons in
order to get a better feel on which electronic resources to retain. I
know of the program "historian" as a possible tracking program. Do
any other software programs exist to track desktop activity?
Additionally, in lieu of tracking the usage of electronic resources
electronically, has anyone tracked their own electronic resources'
usage manually by reference desk statistics?
Any suggestions are appreciated.
