There are several different CD-ROMs used in British law libraries.
Chief among them are the Electronic Law Reports and the All England Law
Reports. The latter are also searchable on-line at
www.butterworths.co.uk, and you can get a free trial subscription.

ELR also offers the Weekly Law Reports, as an option.

Lloyd's Law Reports is also on CD-ROM. There are probably others, too
(Simon's Tax Cases?) but I 7haven't used them.

Of course there are coverage differences between and among the CD-ROMs.

I think that Justastat is the publisher of the ELR series. I find it
easier to use than All ER, because it can readily be downloaded in
*.txt format a case at a time.

Full-text searching isn't possible with ELR, but it can be done with
All ER. Instead, you search among key words.
