My family is traveling with me to the Annual Meeting, and I am in need of
three tickets to the Closing Banquet. If someone can donate a ticket to
me, I would be very grateful. In fact, I would be happy to provide an
honorarium of a bottle of West Texas wine. Before you scoff at the offer
(in case you are not familiar with the vineyards of West Texas), the
climate here, the Lubbock area in particular, is hot and dry in the summer,
much like the wine country of Italy and Napa Valley (or so I was told this
spring when I toured the area).
