I rec'd the virus email from Kathie Sullivan from
DRM.com (Downs Ratchlin & Martin in Burlington VT). By
now sje (and her firm) are probably aware of the
problem.
Apparently anyone who had posted to the list early Fri
had their address picked up by the virus and it
responded to you. ( It did not seem to pick up the
addresses in the person's address book, or it would
have been posted to the list.) Fortunately I had
posted via the Yahoo! mail and not my firm system, so
the virus arrived in my Yahoo! mailbox. The virus is
still not a real threat unless I open/execute (double
click on) the attachment file. (My life is exciting
enough, I don't need to do this. ;))
I am curious...did anyone else who posted to the list
on Friday also receive the virus from another law-lib
member?
