Academic Program-Planners Needed!
Do you want to help develop a program for the AALL Conference in 2000? Do you
want to see the perfect program on the topic nearest and dearest to you? Ever
wonder how you can get involved in program planning? Do you know the perfect
speaker?
Even if you said “no” to each of these, please check the list of possible
program ideas for academic law librarians in the Summer 1999 ALL SIS
Newsletter
also available at
http://aall.wuacc.edu/sis/allsis/18_3/calling.html
That means you can help out even if you are not a member of the SIS and did
not
get the newsletter!
The education committee for the Academic Law Libraries SIS has put together a
list of possible topics for programs for the AALL meeting in Philadelphia in
2000. We need people to select a few of these to be developed into program
proposals to be submitted to AALL this August. This list has been developed
based on survey results from the SIS members as well as a review of past
programs. We may not have covered all the possible topics, but we think we
have come up some several good ideas covering a wide range of interests. If
you have a program idea that isn’t on the list, that’s fantastic! Let us know
if you need any help or want the SIS to sponsor the program.
Please contact me with your suggestions and ideas. The committee looks forward
to hearing from you.
Many thanks.
