And to top it all off, this is a cumulative supplement, Looking through and comparing the it to last year's supplement , I would estimate that only 20% of the content was changed. We returned it. I figure we can buy the supplement every 3-4 years.

I'm sure this has come up before and I've just missed it. I just received
the 1999 annual supp for Areeda's Antitrust Law. One hardbound volume, $360.
Okay, supply & demand, high printing costs, yada yada. POSTAGE & HANDLING -
#30.60!!!!!!! Shouldn't P&H bear some relation to actual costs? Not
according to Customer Service at Aspen. They charge a flat 8.25% of the
price, regardless of cost. I asked that, in the unlikely event I managed to
buy 100 volumes of something for a total price of $100, would it only cost
$10 for P&H? They say, "Of course!" (We also had a minor spat over the
wording of the Invoice. C.S. insisted it had to read "Shipping & Handling",
although I had it in my hand and it clearly said "Post/Handling". She said
that it couldn't be an Invoice, then, it must be a Statement. I guess that's
why they printed "Original Invoice" at the top.)

I've sent an inquiry to CRIV re this, but would like to hear if anyone else
has had any dealings with the problem before.
