Many Thanks to those that wrote to me. I have just spent a good hour or so
completely revising my entire group of New Zealand Legal Resources. *All*
links are now working properly. One of the interesting things I discovered,
using AltaVista, is that an extraordinary number of New Zealand sites
appear to have out-of-date URLs. To make matters worse, many major sites
have moved to a new URL and failed to leave any information whatsoever at
the old URL. It is a complete mystery to me why a major site would not
consider it appropriate to leave a "forwarding address" - but the practice
seems, regrettably, to be on the increase. I would be most interested in
the views of other List-Members as to whether they feel this practice is
rather poor netiquette - particularly where the site which has moved is one
to which many other sites had previously had links. I appreciate that the
new site *can* eventually be tracked down via search engines - but it is
extremely time-consuming and, in my opinion should not be necessary.
Anyway - you will all no doubt be delighted to hear that New Zealand is,
indeed, still alive and well and living in the Pacific.
There was no coup after all, and its laws and institutions appear to be
still intact :-))
'Avagoodday !
