Don't eliminate the CD-ROM. More and more information is being issued only on
CD-ROMS, and to excise this avenue of information-accessing smacks of shooting
yourself in the foot. Have at least one computer that can access CD-ROMs.
Besides, CD-ROMs are SO much easier than floppies, nowadays, pack much more
information on there, and are just much more user-friendly.

In fact, put as much on your computers as possible to make information that
much easier to access: CD-ROMs, the internet, you name it. Why limit
yourself?
