Library visits during Depository Conference

One of the things I try to do every depository conference is to visit one
or two of the federal libraries or offices I make heavy use of the rest of
the year. I have had wonderful visits to the US Supreme Court Library, the
Sentencing Commission, and the Administrative Office of the Courts. I've
always phoned ahead to schedule a good time and the librarians or public
affairs staff have been generous with their time and knowledge.

This year I need to return to the Admin Office of the Courts (I'm trying
to finish an article on federal judiciary publications) and I'm also
hoping to visit the Office of the Law Revision Counsel (I haven't phoned
yet to find out if this visit is possible).

I don't know if I'll make it to both, but I would like to ask if any of
you are interested in joining me. I don't imagine I'll get many of you,
but if I do, I'll limit it to those of us who can't or don't get to D.C.
but once a year. I will be working around the schedule of programs I
intend to attend, but will also try to coordinate with your schedules.

If there are other libraries or offices you think might be useful to
visit, please make the suggestions!

I'm happy to make the calls to set up the visits. But I do want to keep
the coordination activities to a minimum, so I'll post updates to law-lib
and, at the conference, post information on the notice board.
