I need a copy of a 1980 Indiana products liability case. My information is
that the case is titled "State of Indiana v Ford Motor Company, Case No.
11-481, March 10, 1980." The case involved a Ford Pinto and three teen-age
girls who were burned to death. The court may have been Elkhart County,
Indiana which set a prescedent for criminal prosecution of a product
liability case. I've searched LEXIS, WESTLAW and the Web with no success
and I've checked the "CCH Products Liability Reports." The case is
mentioned in a footnote on a page faxed to us by a client.
If anyone has any suggestions or can help me get a copy of the case, I'll be
forever grateful.
