Thanks Janeen for pointing out these quotes. Librarians get too
little praise and recognition as it is. Why can't we pat ourselves on
the back on our own listserv? After all this is the listserv for law
librarians. Isn't it?

There are many people - other than librarians - who are involved in legal
research on the Internet, and the Internet in general. They **all** have
plenty to offer the Internet community, and it is *high time* more
librarians accepted that obvious fact, instead of trying to claim some sort
of "monopoly of wisdom" in this area. Thirty coninuous years of experience
as a qualified practising lawyer, doing legal research daily for advocacy in
the higher courts, equips one *very well* in the field of both electronic
and manual legal research !!
