Memphis conflict?

Good morning everyone,

I seem to be getting conflicting information regarding ordinances in the City of Memphis, TN.

I did some preliminary research last week, and was informed (by a librarian at a law library in Memphis), that Memphis had anti-discrimination and/or domestic partner benefits ordinances enacted (perhaps very recently).

I now just spoke with the Council clerk's office who said that the city itself does not have any such ordinances.

Would some kind soul in Memphis (or anywhere) let me know which is the correct story? I need to know if there are anti-discrimination (specifically, in employment) and/or domestic partner ordinances already on the books in Memphis (or soon to be enacted). Thanks for helping out.
