I want to remind everyone who is considering attending the academic
law libraries space planning institute at Duke on March 12-13 that the
hotel and registration deadlines are approaching.
Perhaps most importantly, the deadline for discounted rates at the
Washington Duke Inn <http://www.washingtondukeinn.com>, which is
located close to the law school, is next Tuesday, FEBRUARY 2. After
that date, rooms at the hotel will be on a space-available basis and
the rates may increase. The deadline for conference registration is
February 19.
Information about the conference and registration forms was sent to
academic law library directors earlier this month and is posted on
the AALL web site <http://www.aall.org>. The web site now includes
full information about speakers and panelists, and a general idea of
the schedule for the two day event.
The Duke law library staff is working with AALL to make this a
memorable event and we look forward to seeing many of you at Duke in
March.
