Recently I vented about my frustrations with my West invoice needing to be taped up each month, and received a large number of sympathetic responses. I also received a call from a nice person at West saying they were working on the problem.
In an unrelated incident, a few days later I received a voicemail from a gentleman at West saying he was aware we had a few outstanding invoices and wanted to visit with me in my office to assist me with them. I found this very amusing, as he would be of no assistance in resolving the invoice problems. This morning I got a phone call from a colleague who said the same gentleman had called her and she has laughed uproariously at the suggestion. However, I have decided there is a way this gentleman from West can help me with my invoices.... he can come to my office each month and tape my statement together. Perhaps he could tour the country, tape in hand, assisting all of us with our invoices!
