I have been trying to contact the District Court, 99th District, for Lubbock
County Texas and keep getting a recorded message that the numbers I have
dialed have been disconnected. I have tried numbers obtained from West's
Legal Directory--Judges, BNA's Directory of State and Federal Courts,
Judges, and Clerks, the The Texas Law Organizations Resource Center Clerks
of the Texas Courts webpage (http://www.txlaw.com/clerks.html), and good old
directory assistance, but none of the numbers are working.
Once before, when I encountered a situation like this when trying to contact
a Florida court, I learned that the courthouse had been flooded, so I'm
assuming something similar must have happened. Would some kind soul take a
moment to fill me in on the situation here? I would truly appreciate it.
Thanks.
