Mundane request, actually: I am writing a report for administrators --wish me
luck-- on the scope of our collection. My goal is to prove that we need a
professional staff as opposed to a single court clerk. I estimate we now have a
collection of about 120,000 volumes. The AALL publishes (or did publish)
designations for libraries of a particular volume number. I do not have the
AALL book at hand. Can some kind libber tell me where such a collection fits
into AALL's scheme of things?
