I don't have your answer, but will be interested in the responses from a Private Law Library standpoint.

Greetings, colleagues, and Happy Thanksgiving,

I received some direct mail advertising from Checkpoint today regarding
their radio-frequency technology for keeping your library collection
from walking out the door. I'm sure this stuff works fine in an
academic or county library setting where you can control access by
setting certain hours of operation, having just one door available, etc.
What, however, can you do in a private firm setting to enlist
cooperation with library circulation procedures? I'm particularly
interested now because we'll be moving to a new building in about a
year-and-a-half, and if there are design features that I can incorporate
which will encourage library users to check out their materials, I'd
like to consider them. Thanks.
