For a comparison between their Internet services see:
Teshima, "The Challenge: WESTLAW.COM and LEXIS-NEXIS Exchange: How do these two
new Information Superhighway on-ramps compare ;to traditional access methods?"
Legal Assistant Today, pg. 40-43, July/August 1998
LEXIS views Xchange "as the beginning of an online legal community."
WEST plans on "centralizing it numerous formats and information on-ramps into
one unified search engine."
I've found that LEXIS has more non-legal resources, but that WESTLAW presents
the general structure of the law better.

Would anyone know of a source which compares the scope of
coverage between Lexis/Nexis and Westlaw and points out areas in
which each service is stronger or weaker in coverage? I recall vaguely
that there may have been an earlier reference to this topic. Please
respond to me privately, and if there is sufficient interest, I will
summarize for the list. TIA.
