Attached is (I hope) a message from the editor of the Judicial
Division Record explaining that the Record is now the only newsletter
published by the Judicial Division of the ABA, and that within it will
continue to be individually numbered issues of the various newsletters
that were previously published by the Division. For example, in the
first issue is v. 18, no. 4 of Special Court News. The Record came
first this summer as a"common newsletter before the annual meeting",
labeled as Special Issue, Summer 1998. This week we received vol. 1,
issue 2, Fall 1988, which indicates only the publication deadlines for
the next three issues.

As of this morning, there was no OCLC cataloging. Should make for
some interesting 505 and 580 notes???

The JD Record will be the only newsletter printed by the Judicial
Division.
We will maintain the individual sections, such as The Lawyers Letter,
Appellate News, etc..and they will each maintain their Volume and
Issue
numbers, but they will be printed as one newsletter under the heading
of the
JD Record. The JD Record will have it's own Volume and Issue number.

If you have other questions, please e-mail me or call me.

Sincerely,
Kris Berliant
