Perhaps AALL or ALA did a survey on this topic, expressed either as a
percentage of firm expense, or as a ratio of library $$$ per attorney. If
so, I too would love to get my hands on such a report, especially if it is
up-to-date (to show that our own library expenses are not out of line
compared with other firms!).
I'm canceling as fast as I can! But the expenses keep rising anyway...

I need to find a source that addresses what percentage of law firm
revenue
goes to the expense of the a law library (including staff, books,
subscriptions, CDs, net online cost). Many years ago, I remember that the
standard figure was 3%. I'd also be curious if there is a statistic on
marketing expense.
Any info is appreciated.
