I had a remarkable phone call this morning from someone at Bender, who had
received what appeared to be a claim for a second copy of Benedict on
Admiralty. Since the p.o. number was the same as what was already on
record for us, and since this is an expensive title, she called to ask if
we were really intending to buy another copy or to see if this was a
mistake. Which it was -- we were trying to claim a transfer binder, but
the claim form was a bit confusing.
We very much appreciated that Terry took the extra time to call and check
with us before placing an order for a copy that we didn't want and that
would have snarled our account.
