Nominations for CALI Board Members

From: CALI MAIL (calimail@kentlaw.edu)
Date: Thu Oct 22 1998 - 11:05:00 PDT

I am posting this to LAWPROF, LAWLIB and TEKNOIDS on behalf of
the chairman of the Nominating Committee of the CALI Board of Directors.

Every year during AALS, CALI holds its Annual Members Meeting
during which new Board Members are elected to the CALI Board of
Directors. Each AALS-accredited, CALI-member law school has
one vote in these proceedings, invested in a designated CALI
Representative at the meeting itself. This year, there will be several
vacancies on the Board and so we are soliciting input on possible
nominations for the Board.

We would appreciate if you could forward the names of full-time
law school faculty who would be interested in serving on the CALI
Board before November, 15 1998. Please send, fax or email your
nominations to:

      John Mayer jmayer@kentlaw.edu
      CALI phone 312-906-5307
565 West Adams Street fax 312-906-5338
      Chicago, IL 60661

Serious candidates only. Board members are required to attend two
meetings per year (AALS and the CALI Conference) and serve on various
committees addressing issues relating to CALI projects and governance.

CALI is a non-profit consortium of 175 U.S. law schools devoted
to research, development and distribution of computer-intergated
legal education materials. CALI publishes a library of over 100
computer-assisted tutorials in 25 different subject areas and sponsors
the annual Conference for Law School Computing. For additional
information about CALI, visit the CALI website at
http://www.cali.org.

Thank you for assistance in this matter.

Regards,

John
