One of our professors is looking for copies of the following items:
The most recently amended versions of rules 312.03, 312.04, and 500 of the
New York Stock Exchange. These rules were amended on October 1, 1998.
Some of the amendments were made in response to a special task force
recommendation.
He would also like a copy of the report of the task force. The name of
the task force is/was: Stockholder Approval Policy Task Force. It was
chaired by John F. Olson, of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
The NYSE website contains 2 press releases about these rule changes, but
not the text of the rules or the text of the report. Our securities law
looseleaf services do not yet have this information.
If anyone has either of these items, we would appreciate it if you could
fax them to us. We will pay reasonable costs. If you respond via e-mail,
please send your response to me directly, as I receive the list in digest
mode.
