Liz, there really is no 1951 version of the Alabama Code. The last few versions have been, 1940, 1958 (recompiled), and 1975 (the current one). What you are referring to as the 1951 would have to be the 1940 with a 1951 supplement, if one existed, or you were given the incorrect cite.
I have the 1940 code volume with a 1955 supplement, if you want me to send it to you . Just let me know.

I am looking for the 1951 Alabama Code sections "25-5-140" and "25 - 5-141".
I have found a 1940 code version and a 1958 version but not 1951. If
someone could fax me copies of these two cites I would really appreciate it.
