I am Director of the Brevard County (Florida) Law Library. The library
was created by legislation to serve judges, attorneys and the public.
We are funded by filing fees and by the County's General Tax Fund. I'm
looking for other County Law Libraries in similar circumstances for help
in answering any or all of the following questions.
1. How was your library created? Who governs you? Do you have a
contract to provide services?
2. How are you funded? Do you have any additional sources of revenue?
3. Do you have Standards? Operating policies and procedures?
4. What are your hours? Are you open to the public?
5. What is your organizational structure? What kind of staff do you
have?
I would appreciate any responses. You may respond by e-mail to sszymula
@iu.net. TIA.
