The following is from Rob Morse's column in the SF Examiner of September
23rd, www.examiner.com.
Another hoax is all over the Internet: Someone is spamming the world with a
quote supposedly made by Ken Starr to Diane Sawyer on "60 Minutes" in 1987.
It's about how the public airwaves should be purged of perverts providing
the media with pornographic material while pretending the public has a right
to know.
How do I know it's fake? Not only does it have too much alliteration, but
CBS representative Sandy Genelius says, "I can't say how it got there, but
we have nothing to show that such an interview occurred."
