My sentiments exactly!

Excuse me, but this is a professional list and I prefer to address
all comments to issues within our profession.
While everyone is entitled to their opinion, proper netiquette
would be to post only to him, not to the rest of the list.

EXCUSE ME, YOUR perception (and I'm sure YOU do not speak or for that matter
think for the rest of the world) of what YOU believe is a preoccupation is just
a matter of a determination to find out the truth. In a true democracy the
supply and free availability of information is essential in order to make
intelligent choices and decisions. When a situation arises involving our
countries leader, the President, in my opinion that takes precedent over all
other matters and should remain so until resolved. The United States being a
great democracy informs and supplies it's citizens with information and facts,
our's is an open government, unlike other countries that try and hide it's
problems. The United States is still and will always remain the leader of the
free world. As far as our press is concerned, the reporters of both television
and print are among the worlds best. Our newspapers report the world and local
events fairly and always allow for public comment. What other countries consider
their top newspapers, here in the U.S. they are considered "tabloid rags" that
have to stoop to publishing nudity and obscenity in order to keep readers
pacified. You do not see our paparazzi chasing down this countries "public
figures" and causing their deaths.
Mr. Huttner, in the past I have tried to remain neutral to your asinine,
infantile ranting and ravings but when you start attacking my country and it's
citizens, I will longer sit still. I do not know you and do not care too. I do
not take satisfaction in insulting you, but on the basis of my contact with you
through law-lib, I can begin to understand why the University you work for is
removing you.
