Thomas Jefferson is widely thought to have taken his Black slave as a
mistress, at the capitol as well as at home. According to a PBS
documentary, Jefferson died in debt to the tune of around $250,000 because
he refused to give up the lifestyle of a wealthy manored landowner.

A historian has apparently documented the activities of Lyndon Johnson (long
before his presidency) and others wandering cemeteries registering dead
voters. A year or two ago Newt Gingrich boasted to the media of having sex
on the desk in his office. How times have changed!

All humans are flawed, including the great. History will judge the caliber
of Bill Clinton's presidency, but in the meantime let's try to make the
context of our assessments as accurate as possible.
