We did it temporarily during a computer upgrade. You are correct, the
BNA and CCH materials are not available. Also, the slowness of the
internet is an absolute nightmare for those who are used to the response
time of the session software (even with a T1 line). Additionally, the
internet packages do not have the full searching functionality that the
session software does. I would not recommend doing this, unless some
time in the future the internet access provides full access to all materials
and full searching functionality....and even then your users will have to
have a lot of patience during busy internet times.

Good morning! I was wondering if any of you have allowed your
attorneys
to access LEXIS and WESTLAW via the Internet. If you have, have you
cancelled your native subscriptions to LEXIS and WESTLAW, and only
have
the attorneys access through the Internet? I was told by LEXIS and
WESTLAW that BNA and CCH publications are not available on the Net. I
am hesitant to cancel native subscriptions if the Internet is not full
coverage. I would appreciate your sharing your thoughts with me on
this
matter. Thanks so much. Patricia
