Subject: [SDLN-L] Printing Spine Labels
Our long-lasting spinwriter daisywheel printer, which has provided
exemplary service for us for almost 20 years, is in need of a replacement.
We are looking at a letter-quality product that we can produce labels in a
one-up format.
I a curious if anyone is using a LaserMatrix printer that is billed as a
continuous form laser printer. It is even tractor fed. If you are using
this printer I would appreciate hearing from you.
I am also interested in speaking to anyone who is using a termal printer
to produce spine labels, and more specifically, any of the GENICOM models
(6342 and 6442 are of current interest). They purport to produce labels
as narrow as one in letter quality that does not smear.
If there are other listservs of which you are aware where I might better
get such information, please let me know.
Thanks in advance for your time and information.
