We've recently subscribed to Knowx and needed some billing information.
When I called them for assistance, I was asked where I got the phone
number. They apparently don't offer phone assistance--just email.
After a curt exchange, the person agreed to go over my invoice with me on
the phone.
If you can't solve your problem through email, I have the phone number.
If Information America is monitoring this listserv, sometimes we do need
a "real person" to sort out a complicated problem. Even the gas
company, another monopoly, offers phone assistance to its customers.
