Fellow law-libbers,
As a result of my living in London during the first part of the year, I
became quite attached to one of the newspapers there, the Daily Telegraph.
It is a fairly conservative and balanced newspaper. So I've arranged to
have it sent to me here in Chicago.
So for the last few days the lead stories on the Washington scandal stuff
in the DT have been very different than what our papers here are focusing
on. The stories are saying that Ken Starr is now working on Hillary's
involvement in various scandals and she might be in big trouble. In
contrast, the stories here make it sound like she is getting ready to
launch her on political career.
I've also heard that other interns may have had similar experiences to
Monica's.
Does anyone else find it so frustrating that most Americans have such a
narrow view of the issues [that this is about sex only], or am I the only
one?
Not a typical posting for lawlib, but I know that this is an
educated/thinking group......
Best regards,
Donna Heroy
