Dictionary, lexicon

Thanks for all your help on my legislative question. I will summarize
the helpful responses for the list.

Another question: I have never found a good lexicon/glossary of computer
terms on the Internet. As a result of the NYTimes, Circuits,
tongue-in-cheek lexicon of Microsoft coinage, I found the full version
on the Web, and a book, Raymond, The Hacker's Dictionary.

The book is humourous. Does anyone know of a serious "dictionary" that
would define such words and phrases as "authoring," "image management,"
etc. I'm a fair techie, so I know what it is when I see it (like
pornography), but if anyone can suggest a source that is pretty
up-to-date, I'd appreciate it. (I haven't checked OED, and other
dictionaries; I suspect it would require biennial updates.)

References will be welcome (I'll bet there is a library someplace on the
Web).

Thanks -- this list is great!

Ellen
