RefQ: Listing of corporate customers of commercial banks

I am trying to determine if there is a directory or any other resource ( i.e.
publicly available regulatory agency filings ) that will list or identify
corporate customers of commercial banks during the late 1970's and
early 1980's. Old editions of Moody's, S&P, D&B, Polks, etc. are not
helpful, and on-line sources that might otherwise have such information
are non-existent for the period in question.

Any suggestions would be helpful.
