The credit for finding and investigating this problem goes to our Sr.
Library Asst., Glenn Li (who is off-list) so I am posting this on his behalf:
The most current shipment of 29 USCA (Labor) consists of 5 volumes. There
is an error in the shelving instructions. The volume on the instructions
listed as sections 161-184 should be 160-184. And, the text of 29 USCA
section 160 is printed in both the section 158a-160 vol. and the section
160-184 volume. Notes to section 160 end with #1057 in vol. 158a-160 and
start with note #1111 in vol. 160-184. Glenn called West to find out if
notes text was missing. He eventually spoke with West's USCA editing
manager, Joe Edwards. Mr. Edwards said this was the first time they had
split one section into 2 volumes. And, the gap between notes #1057 and
#1111 was for growth. He admitted that having indication at the end of vol.
1581-160 stating the beginning note # in the next volume would have made a
lot of sense. Are we looking at ANOTHER peel&stick label situation?
