Our users avoid using it if they can.

Half our shelving is in compact shelves, so we can't be too picky about
what we put there. We've experimented with various things. Right now
we have large bulky sets like FR and CR, back runs of CFR, state
materials other than codes and reports, English materials, superseded,
rare, and historic Georgia collections, plus a lot of miscellany.

We have Spacesaver. It's been in place for many years with no problem.

Ours is manual. It works fine. I have no experience with electronic.
