CCH may very well have floated this dubious explanation but I sincerely
hope that Rochelle and other subscribers will not settle for this
rationalization. I am aware of only one other publishing company that
attempted this convoluted reasoning a few years back. In the end the
publisher issued full refunds to those pesky subscribers who actually
had expected to receive the goods for which they had paid.
