Great news!
FORMS: The program and workshop proposal forms are now
available in MS Word and Word Perfect formats from AALLNET
(www.aallnet.org/events/99_handbook.html). One of the options at
that page is to get the forms in a "zipped" file. You can download
and unzip the files, choosing either the MS Word or Word Perfect
version.
SUBMITTING the forms: You can submit your completed
workshop and program proposal forms via e-mail. Send the forms
to Maggie Kearney at mkearney@aall.org. Please follow these
instructions.
1) Enter "1999 Annual Meeting Program Proposal" or "1999
Annual Meeting Workshop Proposal" on the subject line.
2) Include the forms as an attachment if your e-mail package
permits that, rather than including the text as a part of the
message.
3) If you are using Microsoft Office suite, use the red icon to
indicate to Maggie that the message is "high importance."
4) Deadline is the close of business on August 17, 1998.
The 1999 AMPSC, Association staff, and I hope that these two
changes will make your participation int he Annual Meeting
proposal process more convenient. Thanks to Martha Brown,
Maggie Kearney, and Jason Hinkle for helping to make these
changes.
