University of Orlando Law Review: Article Solicitation
The University of Orlando Law School was founded in 1995. The Law
Review was chartered in the fall of 1997 and will publish its inaugural
symposium issue no later than May 1999.
In recognition of the increase in the severity of crimes being committed
by our nation's young children the inaugural issue will be dedicated to
an analysis of juvenile crime and punishment.
We are calling upon the country's finest authorities and scholars in the
area of juvenile crime and punishment to provide meaningful insight and
analysis of this topic. We expect to address areas such as:
- the causes of increased violence at younger ages
- the appropriateness of punishment
- the effectiveness of punishment as a deterrent
- alternatives and recommendations for the future.
The Law Review is accepting articles for publication.
All submissions should be sent to:
