No annotated code that I know of. Re regulations, interestingly, by statute
(Gov. Code 11344) the Office of Administrative Law was supposed to have the
entire CCR online "on and after" July 1, 1998, free of charge. They seem to be
focussing on the "after" part of that, since their website now has a message
saying they're negotiating with an outside contractor and plan to have the
regs up by the end of 1998. Seems an odd statutory interpretation, but then
why should a state agency actually comply with what the Legislature tells it
to do by statute anyway. (All right, I'm being snide. They're probably doing
the best they can with limited budget, personnel etc - just like the rest of
us. Still, it would be nice if for once something actually went up when it was
supposed to.)
