Welcome back from AALL! I have a question to ask ... I have spent
hours upon hours trying to locate a federal case regarding use of "the
blues" (we're talking musically here), comparative advertising, first
amendment, and insurance law. I've searched case law, law reviews,
and the like. Because of some limitations with Boolean search logic
(don't you wish you could search for the word "the" sometimes?), I
have not been able to find the case.
Does this case ring a bell with anyone? If so, I'd greatly value a
message from you at leodugan@lafollettesinykin.com. (This e-mail
address is good through 7/21).
Finally, I would like to tell my virtual community of colleagues and
friends (i.e. THIS LIST) that I have so enjoyed subscribing to this
list. Next Tuesday is my last day as a "law librarian," as I spread
my wings to gain experience as a "corporate/special librarian." Law
librarianship has been my first library experience following graduate
school. I continue to be supremely impressed by the level of
expertise, leadership, innovation, scholarship, and kindness exhibited
by my fellow law librarians and members of this list. This list has
(pardon the phrase) saved my tush on several occasions, and, for this,
you have my deepest appreciation and thanks.
To quote Captain Kirk's last words, "It's been fun."
