Cross posted, please excuse the duplication.

A couple of times these last few months I had posted advisories warning users of the Code of Alabama on Premise about the unfortunate fact that the Code was current only through the 1995 legislative sessions.

West has to their credit fixed the problem. The latest set of CDs which we received this past Monday has the current version of the Code, through the 1997 regular sessions. The 1997 special session and the 1998 regular sessions are found under Alabama session laws. As an added benefit, the Code is now annotated. Not directly related improvements include bigger coverage of Alabama cases (going) back to the 1st series of the Southern Reporter, as well as the upcoming Alabama Administrative Code.

After talking with Kathy Kline (sp?), one of the West CD-ROM editors, I feel pretty confident that such a major problem will not rear its ugly head again anytime soon.
