I've been asked to find out whether or not the United States and Germany have ratified (adopted?) the Hague Convention on the Law Applicable to Succession to Estates of Deceased Persons. The citation is 28 ILM 150, and I can find the document itself just fine, but it doesn't tell who has agreed to the Convention. Is there a source to go to that will tell me which countries have ratified a particular international document?
My roundabout way of researching has been to search periodical databases to see if an article has mentioned ratification of the Convention. From what I've found, I don't _think_ that the U.S. has ratified it yet, but I was hoping for a more precise way of finding the information. As far as German ratification goes, I am completely clueless.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
