Did you attend the Annual SLA Conference in Indy? Did you
have to do a report to your management justifying your
attendance? How about sharing that report with your busy
colleagues?
While in Indy, I suggested this several times and everyone
seemed to think it was a great idea. "Why reinvent the
wheel" seemed to be the thought. If you would like to
participate, it would be extremely helpful to those
individuals who attended the Annual Conference and now have
to spend time writing a report to their management.
If you have one and would like to share any portion of it,
please post to the above lists (SLA-LAW, LAW-LIB, SOLO,
PRIVATE) and those who would like a copy can e-mail you
directly.
A brief explanation . . .I would post my "Conference Report
to Management", however, since I really don't have a job
right now, I don't have to do one! ;-)
Hopefully, we'll see some participation on this, it could be
a real timesaver to so many busy librarians! Thanks for
your participation.
Best,
